Since its inception in 1972, our organization has been dedicated to protecting the Santa Monica Mountains from overdevelopment and maintaining this precious open space for future generations.

We take great pride in our mission and accomplishments, and with your help we are able to maintain our beautiful recreational trails by outfitting our volunteer trail crew with tools and supplies, and to fund legal battles such as the recent lawsuit that saved Sweetwater Mesa.

Your donations help us fight to secure and protect land, and restore open spaces and trails. We work with officials at the federal, state and local levels to ensure the highest levels of protection for our natural resources.
