Volunteer

Many people join the Sierra Club because we care about the natural world and want to help with its preservation. However, finding the best way to get further involved at a local level can often be a challenge. Here are some of the ways you can help support our mission:

Bring your unique skills to the table

Stay informed

Attending Task Force meetings is a great way to start learning about the environmental threats currently faced by the Santa Monica Mountains, and discover the variety of ways you can support our mission to preserve and protect them. All are welcome! To receive the invitation/agenda for the future meetings, check the “Task Force meetings” box when you join our mailing list. We meet bi-monthly, usually on the first Tuesday of the month, from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Meetings are usually held at a physical location on the Westside, with the option to attend via Zoom.

Subscribe to our mailing list for exclusive/timely updates on specific topics of your choosing, including time-sensitive conservation news and calls-to-action, and upcoming volunteer activities.
