Many of us join the Sierra Club because we care about the natural world and want to help with its preservation. However, finding the best way to get involved at a local level can sometimes be a challenge.

Here are some of the ways you can help support our mission:

Stay informed

Attending a meeting (bi-monthly) is a great way to learn about the environmental threats currently faced by the Santa Monica Mountains, and discover a variety of ways to support our mission to preserve and protect them.

Bring your unique skills to the table

Legal/political/conservation knowledge. Community engagement: speaking, tabling, hosting events. Writing skills: research, writing, proofreading, editing. Digital skills: web, social media, newsletter, admin. Visual content: design, photography, video.
